How it all began....
Texas Wine Shop & Bistro is a family-owned vineyard, winery, and restaurant that all began in January of 2007 with the dream of a muscadine vineyard; and Sarah's Vineyard on Carter Creek was born.
Today, the 20 acre muscadine vineyard is the largest of its kind in Texas and is the source of grapes for our Jewels of the Forest line of wines vinted, cellared, and bottled in Jasper, Tx.
Muscadine Wines
Muscadine grapes are native to the Southeastern United States producing wines of all colors and sweetness levels. These thick-skinned grapes have one of the highest antioxidant levels and extremely fruity character with powerful aromatics and flavor-notes of yellow apples, citrus and tart red fruits. Acai Wines
Texas Wine Shop & Bistro is the home of Acai Wine. Acai is the famed fruit of the Amazon. Nestled atop a stately palm tree, the açai fruit spends its life breathing the pure air of the Amazon Rain forest and drinking in pristine quenching rains. Experience the taste, aroma, and character of 100% açai fruit. Our Açai Wine captures this tropical purity with floral nuances of blueberry, raspberry and pomegranate enveloped by aromas of almond and vanilla.
Try our Doce wine in place of your favorite Blush or White Zinfandel, or our Seco wine in place of your favorite Cabernet or Merlot. Come by our bistro and winery for a free tasting
Dino Craft Brewery
We are excited to announce the addition of our on-site craft brewery in May 2026, expanding our offerings beyond wine to include a diverse selection of freshly brewed beers. Guests can now enjoy a rotating lineup of ales and lagers, including crisp, refreshing pilsners crafted with the same attention to quality and flavor that defines our wines. This new brewery experience brings together wine and beer enthusiasts alike, creating an even more dynamic and welcoming destination for all.
